| Synopsis |
| Yes, 24 is the name of a popular television series that has nothing to do with this story. But, as we all know, it’s also a number with intrinsic significance…. By the time scheduling changes force “Skky’s Guys” to air as the 24th segment of Smells Like Yukon, Mark and Jesse have already produced a gala radio event to celebrate this “major milestone” in the life of their series. Realizing that CBC Yukon listeners keep meticulous track of Smells Like Yukon’s story sequencing, they hold out little hope that the retrospective piece titled “24” will ever be broadcast. Fortunately, April Fool’s Day comes along and provides a welcome context for its resurrection. And it’s a good thing, too, because the story sifts through the first two-dozen Smells Like Yukon segments to highlight some great moments that even the most faithful listeners might not recall.
