| Synopsis |
| While Jesse spends six months traveling through Australia, Southeast Asia, India and Nepal with his wife, Mark remains in the Yukon, unable to experience the kind of personal growth that is quickly changing Jesse’s perspective on the world. As revealed through heart-wrenching readings of the e-mails they exchanged during Jesse’s painful absence, the partners struggle to find some common ground that will allow them to continue with Smells Like Yukon when the series’ prodigal narrator returns to Whitehorse. This correspondence reveals, for the first time ever, the shocking fact that the future of Smells Like Yukon, for an all-too terrifying moment, hung by a mere thread. In the end, however, financial necessity and false promises bring Mark and Jesse back together—and create the conditions for Smells Like Yukon to go where no Yukon radio series has ever gone before.
