No one wants to charge you some stupid fee, bombard you with spam, or sell you some crap you don't really need. The reason Smells Like Yukon doesn't just post the audio files on the website is to limit access to our friends. By e-mailing your request for "Membership," Smells Like Yukon can consider you a friend of sorts. And what's a little harmless file sharing between friends? Once you've submitted your application—in other words, sent an e-mail using the link below—you'll receive a welcome message with the URL, username and password to access the audio archives. After that, the only e-mail Smells Like Yukon will EVER send you will be a reminder of the next broadcast on CBC Yukon (once every two weeks, AT MOST). This e-mail will also include an updated username and password for the audio files. You will always be blind CC'd to protect your privacy. And, while this should really go without saying, your e-mail address will never be sold to or shared with anyone else, including the NSA. |
